The brief was simple, to develop a once ‘pop up’ space into a stylish, functional studio where Cork & Chroma can continue to serve the creative community of Brisbane. Alongside M&S Interiors, I conceptualised a permanent space to serve as a clean but beautiful canvas where the colourful art of Cork & Chroma can be celebrated!

Hillary and BJ continue to inspire me, as an entrepreneur and as a person. They gave me a literal platform on which to stand and proudly speak about art and creativity! In 2013 they hired little ol’ architectural student Kristin to be an artist in their new venture of ‘paint and sip’ experiences. More than a decade later Cork & Chroma is a nationwide phenomenon.

Curiosity and activity attract customers into the space of the bustling Little Stanley Street in Brissy’s South Bank. The inviting storefront and artwork on display boasts of the excitement that is a paint and sip class at Cork & Chroma.
